The use of deformations in robotics is one of the most active fields of application and research. To train the next generation of researchers and engineers, CNRS, Inria, and the University are joining forces to organize a summer school. During one week, participants will attend lectures and practical sessions on the fundamental concepts (modelling, simulation and control) necessary for the use of deformable materials in soft robotics, continuous robotics, hybrid rigid/deformable robotics as well as in rigid robotics interacting with a deformable environment.
The keynotes and lectures will be given in English, given the intended European audience. Research engineers, young and senior researchers, Ph.D. students are all welcome to the summer school.
This training action can be completed by a technical day on the theme of deformable robotics organized by the professional network 2WD in September 2022.
